Unbelief

Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
Thank God for mercy and grace because this is unbelief at its maximum!

• Unbelief means to separate thoroughly, withdraw from, to oppose
• Unbelief is when you know, but you have decided not to believe

John 20:24-29

24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

What is the cure for doubt?

God set the example in Genesis

And God Said...

God speaks the desired end result

What if God had of said - whoa, its dark out there! - Instead he said let there be light!

God is accurate

What if God had not specified what was to bring forth life out of? We may have had fish and dolphins on the land.

God had an inner image on the inside of him and he spoke creation into existence using this faith

He also imagined me and you - and put us (the whole world) inside Adam and Eve

We speak the desired end result based on Isaiah 53:5 and we receive the healing he died to provide for us

Jesus defeated the curse of poverty

What does it mean to prosper? To have more than enough in all areas of life (physical, mental, spiritual, social and financial).

Jesus wrote us a blank check

You can doubt in your head and still get results - but you cannot doubt in your heart

Mark 11:23

²³ For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

What is the cure for Unbelief?
