Ideas for a 3D animated entertainment video
As I read your description of the project details, I was reminded of when I used to watch the CW tv network - they would say before the shows in the evenings - "You're just moments away from..." with the name of the show. Another example of energy building scenes - on the various versions of NCIS - they would have animated forward moving music - but they would also take several snapshots and freeze the frame momentarily [like a shutter click] before going to the next one with emphasizing audio having about 5-8 in all, letting the excitement build.
When it comes to animation - you can start with 3D object moving forward slowly from a long ways away. The first thing a viewer will this is - what is that - and then start moving the 3D objects faster and faster. To visualize what I just described imaging having a tire roll down a distant road towards you and end up landing on a stack. On the next section of animation you bring two tires down and increase the speed - possibly making them spin in the process. As you keep increase the # and speed of the tires they will produce and arc with some text in the middle based on the subject of the videos (tires wearing thin...we've got you covered...).
Excitement doesn't always have to be fast. It can be dramatic - like moving the camera for a 3D world on multiple rotation, translation, or scaling vectors at the same time producing smooth but strong motion.
I have been a software developer since 1998 (3D since Sep 2017) and whenever I start to build a new application, I think through all the projects I have worked on and I take a little from this one, some code from that one, and a concept from the other. Next, I add what is missing to complete the project for its unique requirements. The same will be true for 3D animation videos and dynamic 3D assemblies.
Parametric 3D Assemblies
When I created a 3D parametric assembly it is reusable and animatable by building in unqiue properties that can change the size and shape of the assembly without rewrite the formula. Below are some examples existing 3D assemblies I have created. Depending on the complexity of the 3D assembly, some of them can be created quickly. Others use math that I encode into them from a virtual whiteboard for mesh geometries.
Using techniques from different videos
The corporate logo reveal shows a level of suspend as the camera moves in while the water drains to show the logo.
Towards the end of this video
you are seeing to camera directions applied at once.
This video shows very smooth animation. The speed could be lowered or increased depending on the intent.
This video has my standard intro for animations on my website - it shows building up anticipation as you see multiple different 3D objects appearing all over the frame timed to the music. Towards the end of the video, the chosen lotto balls spin quite fast drawing attention.
The Approach
Together we could write a script - create a list of 3D objects / 3D assemblies that would need to be created, add some proposed motion / animations planning and from there produce an MP4 video.
Questions
Do you have any current media (png or jpg images) that would communicate the theme of the video?
Do you wish to have audio along with the animations or is visual sufficient?
Do you have a desired color scheme in mind?
3D Technology - The Scientific Research Suite (SRS) / MathCompiler3D - [.NET 8, Wpf 3D Helix, C#]
I author the SRS application which allows me to create custom 3D Worlds, 3D parametric assemblies and dynamic 3D animations backed by custom math equations and output that content to an MP4 video.
Portfolio(s) - MP4 3D animations, 3D art gallery, and Software Demo's
